Biography: I am a trained commercial artist with a fine art and graphic background from Pensacola Christian College in Florida. Over the years I have done a lot of freelance art design. Then I took several years off to stay at home with my two sons. I began taking some jewelry making classes at my local bead shop. That went hand in hand with my love of jewelry. When I took my first ACS class, I was hooked! ACS has allowed me to use my artistic talent to have fun creating beautiful pieces of jewelry. Since earning my Level One Certification, I’ve had a blast teaching ACS introductory classes and have met many interesting people along the way. I enjoy sharing my talent with students that feel intimidated by the medium. It’s rewarding to help them create a piece that they love.
Philosophy: I believe that there is an "artist" buried somewhere in all of us. Some of us just need a little help finding their "artist within".
Awards / Degrees / Achievements:
I was able to do a ACS class promotional spot on Gettysburg Public Television for the Adams County Art Association in the spring of 2008.
