What do you love about Art Clay? I love the fact that I can create whatever pendant, ring or bead I want out of Art Clay. I make a lot of jewelry and now I can handmake every piece of it.
What are your favorite Art Clay projects/creations? I enjoy making matching sets, so if I make a necklace I can make earrings, rings and bracelets to match!
What other media do you work and/or teach in? I teach and work in wire–wrapping, pearl knotting, making wire findings, soldering, and basic beading.
Biography: I started working for the Bead Trunk when I was 18, and have worked there for over 15 years. I purchased the store in 2008! I started teaching jewelry classes 10 years ago and became introduced to Art Clay 7 years ago. I became certified a year after learning about Art Clay and have been teaching ever since.
Philosophy: Since 2005, I feel very blessed that I am able to live my dream of being a creative artist and share my talents with others by teaching and creating one of a kind jewelry pieces for people.
Awards / Recognition: My store just got voted "Best Jewelry Store" in the mid–valley for 2009. The local paper had an online pole that received over 400,000 votes!
