Art Clay Exposure!

Art Clay Senior Instructor, Kathy Davis, will appear on the DIY Network to demonstrate her technique for turning Art Clay into fine silver embellishments.

Senior Instructor, Karen Doore, will be appearing in a segment of HGTV's "Crafter's Coast to Coast," sometime in March, 2005. Also, one of Karen's necklaces will appear in the Bead Dreams issue of Bead and Button, this February.

Congratulations to Karen Doore for receiving second place in the Clay Beads category of the 2005 Bead Arts Awards.  Her winning piece is titled Openwork Ribbon Beads, made from Art Clay 650/1200.  Karen's appearance in a segment of HGTV's "Crafter's Coast to Coast" will be rebroadcast on September 22.

Sometime in early 2005, polymer clay artisan Emi Fukushima will be appearing on the Carol Duvall show, demonstrating Art Clay Silver paper type and origami techniques. Check back here frequently for updates!

Expert enameling artist, Pam East, will be appearing on "Do It Yourself Jewelry Making," to talk about using enamels with Art Clay. The episode will be re-broadcast on the DIY network in May 2005.

Pam East, a Master Instructor, will have an article on Champlevé enameling on Art Clay Silver in the September 2005 issue of Art Jewelry Magazine.

Jackie Truty has been accepted as an artist at the Vail Arts Festival this summer, in Vail, Colorado,  August 19-21st. She will be showing under her private label, “Pretty Wilde Designs,” with exclusive Art Clay work in silver and gold. Nearly 120 artists have been selected from around the country to participate in this annual festival in one of the country’s hottest tourist destinations. American Idol and Art Clay!
The runner-up from the 2005 American Idol Contest, Bo Bice, was given the key to the city of Helena, AL, made out of Art Clay Silver! To see the pictures, click here.

Senior Instructor, Denise Gravano, will have a serpentine necklace design appear in the Simply Beads Magazine September/October, 2005, issue.
